Black-Led Nonprofit Network
The systemic inequities facing Black communities demand a dual approach: responsive service delivery and transformative systems change. The BLNN Black-Led Nonprofit Network is the catalytic national infrastructure designed to empower the very organizations at the heart of this work—Black-led, Black-focused, and Black-serving (B3) nonprofits.
Through deep engagement with community partners, allies, and funders, we have identified a critical gap. While programs and services are essential for meeting urgent community needs, sustainable liberation requires dismantling the root causes of inequality. B3 organizations are uniquely positioned to lead this charge, yet they are consistently under-resourced and operate in isolation, limiting their collective power and capacity for innovation.

The BLNN is the definitive response. We are building a robust national learning ecosystem—a dynamic space for Black leaders to strengthen vital skills, share proven knowledge, and forge the collaborative strategies necessary to drive systemic transformation. The Network moves beyond traditional capacity building by integrating two powerful, interconnected engines of change:
1. Immediate Sector Strengthening: Through targeted programs, services, and peer exchanges, we directly enhance the operational, adaptive, and leadership capacity of B3 organizations. This ensures they are resilient, effective, and equipped to deliver critical services today.
2. Long-Term Systems Transformation: We foster a dedicated environment for strategic collaboration, disruptive thinking, and the incubation of innovative approaches. This cultivates the collective power and visionary solutions needed to redesign inequitable systems and create lasting structural change for tomorrow.

BLNN
In essence, the BLNN is more than a network; it is a transformative platform for seeding, growing, and sustaining the ecosystem of B3 leadership. We are committed to ensuring that those closest to the challenges are endowed with the community, resources, and influence to build both immediate equity and a fundamentally more just future. The time to invest in this engine of Black-led change is now.
